DEWA cohosts 3rd Dubai International Project Management Forum

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will co-host the 3rd Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF). The forum is being held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, under the theme ‘Shaping the Future,’ from 22-25 October. The Forum is being organised by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and EMAAR Properties, and takes place at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.

Prominent international experts and specialists in project management will take part in the Forum. The 2nd DIPMF proved a success, and was attended by 1,500 participants from 28 countries, 17% more than the inaugural forum. The 2nd Forum was also characterised by the diversity of topics, events and activities of relevance to the management of engineering and construction projects, and the management of projects in technical, sports, energy and sustainability fields. The 2nd DIPMF saw the launch of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Award for Innovation in Project Management. HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, is a key speaker in the forum. Al Tayer will highlight DEWA’s most important achievements, experiences, and the UAE’s efforts to transform into an eco-friendly economy, during a panel discussion on ‘Sustainability and Green Project Management.’ DEWA will also participate in a video, which will be shown during the forum, about DEWA’s major projects and achievements.
