Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced its support for Dubai Police’s Home Security programme, which protects and secures homes of citizens and residents while travelling or absent for long periods of time. The move supports the shared vision of the two organisations to enhance the quality of life and promote happiness among society members.

"We are committed to integration and ongoing cooperation with federal and local departments and organisations to enhance the quality of life in Dubai. This is part of our efforts to support the directives of the wise leadership who put the quality of life of citizens, residents, and visitors at the top of its priorities, and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the smartest, happiest, and safest city in the world. In line with the strategic partnership between DEWA and Dubai Police, we are pleased to support the Home Security programme and promote it among our customers and employees and encouraging them to sign up for this pioneering programme, which has been a great success since its launch. It has contributed to enhancing the sense of safety and security among citizen and resident homeowners when they are absent or travel for long periods using the latest innovative and smart programmes and technologies, which characterize Dubai,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.

HE Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, emphasised that the strategic partnership between Dubai Police and DEWA is an extension of the constructive and fruitful cooperation between the two organisations. This cooperation is based on a joint, comprehensive and integrated system for supporting the future vision of Dubai and achieving the strategic goal of keeping the Emirate safe, secure and stable.  Taking that into consideration,  Dubai Police have always been keen on laying the foundations of security with high levels of accuracy and precision, implementing developmental plans in order to achieve its strategic goal in fighting and preventing crime.
