The Indian Pavilion at the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) will highlight India’s innovative technologies, sustainable solutions and clean energy capabilities. Organised by B2B Edge Consultants, the Pavilion will serve as a dynamic platform showcasing India’s growing presence in global green markets. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will organise WETEX from 30 September to 2 October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, and Founder and Chairman of WETEX said: “The UAE and India enjoy strong trade relations spanning decades. Non-oil trade between the two countries witnessed remarkable growth of 20.5%, exceeding AED 240 billion in 2024, compared to AED 199.3 billion in 2023. This reflects the depth of the partnership and the promising investment and trade opportunities between both countries. WETEX contributes to consolidating this partnership by providing a leading platform for exchanging expertise and showcasing the latest technologies and solutions in clean energy, water and sustainability, in support of sustainable development goals. We are pleased to welcome the participation of Indian companies in this year’s edition, and we look forward to their effective contribution to advancing sustainable transformation regionally and globally.”
Susmmita Das Biswas, CEO of B2B Edge Consultants, said: "WETEX 2025 is a tremendous opportunity for Indian companies to directly engage with UAE decision-makers, identify strategic partners and expand their market footprint across the MENA region. Through this platform, we are not just promoting trade – we are building long-term partnerships and enabling Indian innovation to contribute meaningfully to global sustainability goals."
Rishabh Sanghvi, Vice President of the Water Purification & Treatment Association of India (WAPTAI) highlighted that the delegation of WAPTAI marks 30% increase in participation from last year. It includes 17 leading Indian companies specialised in water purification, wastewater treatment, and sustainable water management.
Exhibits will include solutions in power and water generation, transmission and distribution, renewable energy and associated technologies such as pumps, water treatment systems, FRP/GRP products, filtration membranes, PV components, switchgear and control panels – positioning India as a vital partner in advancing sustainable infrastructure across the MENA region.
