HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), welcomed HE Tracy Reynolds, Consul General of Canada in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, to explore opportunities for collaboration in clean energy and digital transformation.
HE Al Tayer highlighted DEWA’s keenness to strengthen co-operation and exchange best practices with Canadian institutions and companies, especially in the sustainability and clean and renewable energy sectors. Al Tayer also showcased DEWA’s investments in cutting-edge technologies powered by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and robotics. These innovations are helping to redefine traditional operational models, accelerating Dubai’s digital transformation and further establishing the city as a hub for creativity and innovation.
