DEWA enrolled Demolition Contractors are able to apply for Combined demolition application through the system after uploading required documents and technical drawings for obtaining Demolition NOC -E, Demolition NOC –W & Billing service NOC (DRS) of DEWA. Customers are also able to track the status of their applications and interact with DEWA during the project progress stages.

Note: For Partial demolition ( additional document )  -Setting out plan indicating Demolition area

Service Steps & Procedures

  • Apply online through DEWA website (www.dewa.gov.ae)
  • Select service  Demolishing Permits - Electricity/Water
  • Enter EID or idbara/Trade License for owner selection
  • In case the owner is not available on DEWA system you must register the owner  by choosing “create  owner” and then update the required data
  • Fill out the mandatory fields and attach the required documents. then press the “Submit Application” button

  • Upon submission, I receive a confirmation message with application reference number on DEWA portal.

  • I receive a notification through Email\SMS Upon Acceptance\Return\Reject of the Application, and update through the portal system
  • Once the demolition permit application is Approved - I receive a notification that the application is approved and the Demolition Electricity & Water NOCs are issued. Also, I get the NOCs by email and through the portal.
  • * When application is returned, I receive a detailed email of return reasons, then I request for technical discussion (if required) and I re-submit the application
