Dubai Electricity and Water Authority PJSC (DEWA) Competitions’ Terms and Conditions

  • By participating in this competition, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal data by DEWA for the purposes of administering the competition, verifying eligibility, and contacting participants.
  • DEWA will process personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Participants acknowledge that, if selected as winners, their name, social media handle, and submitted content may be used by DEWA for promotional purposes related to the competition.
  • DEWA will take appropriate measures to protect personal data and retain it only as necessary. Participants may request access to or correction of their personal data in accordance with applicable law.
  • Participants must share the correct answer in the comments.
  • Participation is open to all UAE nationals and residents, including DEWA’s staff.
  • Participants must include the contest’s hashtag # and mention @DEWA_Official account.
  • Participants must follow @ DEWA_official on their social media account.
  • Participants must repost DEWA’s competition post.
  • Participants must mention three friends in the comments.
  • The Competition is governed by the applicable laws of Dubai and UAE, as well as DEWA’s policies and regulations in this respect.
  • DEWA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to alter the Competition’s T&C, to cancel, suspend or terminate the Competition or reject any submission.
  • Any attempt by a participant to undermine the legitimate operation of the contests shall constitute a violation of applicable rules of the Competition and may result in disqualification.
  • In no event shall DEWA be liable to any third party for any losses, expenses, costs or damages whatsoever, including claims relating to copyright infringement or violation of any party’s right to privacy, or any other claims arising out of or in connection with the participant’s submissions or participation in the competition. The participant shall indemnify, defend and hold DEWA harmless against any such claims.
  • Winners will be selected randomly from participants who complete all the required steps correctly.
  • DEWA reserves the right to verify participations and disqualify incomplete or invalid submissions.
  • Winners will be disqualified if no action is taken within two weeks of winning confirmation.
  • Winners will be contacted through DEWA’s official social media account.
  • By participating in the Competition, users agree to the competition terms and conditions as specified and set by DEWA.
