DEWA highlights its key contributions to sustainability and renewable energy at World Future Energy Summit 2026
During its participation in the World Future Energy Summit 2026, hosted by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is highlighting its key projects and pioneering initiatives in clean and renewable energy, sustainability and Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies. DEWA’s participation reflects its commitment to driving sustainable innovation and smart technologies in the energy and water sectors and consolidating the UAE’s position at the forefront of global progress in clean and renewable energy. Visitors can learn about DEWA’s key projects and initiatives at its stand in Hall 5 (Energy Hall) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 13 to 15 January 2026.

DEWA makes significant progress in clean energy transition, adding 1,000MW in 2025
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) concluded 2025 with a major milestone in Dubai’s clean energy journey, adding 1,000MW of clean energy production capacity. This achievement is part of the progress in the 1,800MW sixth phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, reflecting DEWA’s commitment to accelerating renewable energy projects in line with the highest international standards.

DEWA granted a Copyright for an innovative digital application to enhance smart solar planning
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has been granted a Copyright for an innovative digital application designed to manage and plan distributed solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The application integrates data related to weather conditions and energy operational performance into a comprehensive digital simulation system and links it directly to the Shams Dubai Master Database. This advanced application supports data-driven decision-making and enhances the efficiency of future planning for the emirate’s electrical distribution networks, ensuring they can accommodate the expansion of renewable energy.
