‘Lessons from Life’ by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inspires DEWA’s youths towards excellence and leadership
The Youth Council of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organised an inspiring educational workshop to explore the book Lessons from Life by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The workshop, held at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, highlighted His Highness’s remarkable journey, marked by decades of national service, generosity and commitment to noble values.

DEWA’s Sustainability and Innovation Centre wins two Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards
The Sustainability and Innovation Centre of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has won two Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards. The centre won the gold medal in the ‘Best Advance in Education Delivered through Technology’ category in recognition of its excellence in digital education related to sustainability and future skills. It also won the silver medal in the ‘Best Advance in Social Impact Innovation’ category for its role in enhancing social impact through sustainability and innovation.

DEWA awards AED 216 million contract to enhance efficiency and reliability of Dubai’s water networks
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has awarded a contract worth AED 216 million for a strategic project to boost the efficiency and reliability of Dubai’s water transmission networks. The contract includes the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of glass-reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipelines of varying diameters, along with associated works across multiple locations in the emirate.
