DEWA scores 97.5% in employee happiness and well-being standard, setting global benchmark for utilities
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has been awarded the International Employee Happiness and Well-being Standard (IEHWS) certificate, scoring 97.5% to earn the top-tier ‘Transformational Leading Organisation’ rating. This score – among the highest globally – ranks DEWA among the world’s top five IEHWS-certified organisations and establishes it as the global leader in the utility sector. DEWA renews ISO 37301:2021 certification in compliance management
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has successfully renewed its ISO 37301:2021 certification in compliance management, which it originally obtained in 2023. As one of the first organisations globally and locally to earn this distinction, DEWA’s latest achievement underscores the robustness and maturity of its compliance framework.

DEWA briefs high-level German delegation of its efforts to enhance energy and water sustainability
The Research and Development (R&D) Centre of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) received a high-level German delegation headed by Marco Loritz, First Secretary for Economy and Culture at the German Consulate in Dubai. The visiting delegation included Karin Zangerl, Director of the Abu Dhabi Office of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce, along with representatives of a number of leading German companies specialising in hydrogen and renewable energy.
