Dubai Electricity and Water Authority PJSC announces record annual operating and financial results for the year 2023

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority PJSC (ISIN: AED001801011) (Symbol: DEWA), the Emirate of Dubai’s exclusive electricity and water services provider, which is listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), today reported its full year 2023 preliminary and unaudited consolidated financial results, recording consolidated full year revenue of AED 29.2 billion, net profit of AED 7.9 billion and quarterly revenue of AED 7.1 billion and net profit of AED 1.8 billion. The full year audited results are expected to be released in the first week of March 2024.

Dubai Supreme Council of Energy adopts strategic initiatives to support infrastructure

HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE), chaired the 80th meeting of the Council, which was held at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira hotel in Dubai, in the presence of HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the DSCE. 94.4% increase in requests for electricity connection to projects up to 150 kilowatts in Dubai in 2023

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced that the number of requests for electricity connection to projects through ‘Al Namoos’ service increased by 94.4% compared to 2022. DEWA received 7,885 requests for electricity connection in 2023. This is a new indicator of the robust performance of all economic sectors in Dubai and DEWA’s ongoing efforts to support the sustainability of Dubai’s growth and development.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority PJSC (ISIN: AED001801011) (Symbol: DEWA), the Emirate of Dubai’s exclusive electricity and water services provider, which is listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), today reported its third quarter 2023 consolidated financial results, with a record quarterly revenue of AED 9.4 billion, an operating profit of AED AED 3.7 billion, and EBITDA of AED 5.2 billion. For the first nine months, DEWA’s consolidated revenue totalled AED 22.2 billion, with an operating profit of AED 6.9 billion and EBITDA of AED 11.2 billion.
