Requirements and Steps

Apply online through DEWA’s website
Submit applications for both construction and permanent supply (together).
Payment should be made for construction and permanent supply services.
Install a meter cabinet for construction supply close to the permanent supply meter cabinet to avoid supply cable shortages.
Mechanical arrangements (if required) should be provided within the construction supply meter cabinet to facilitate the termination of the DEWA cable.
When construction is completed, DEWA will disconnect construction power supply after the first permanent supply inspection.
After disconnecting the construction supply, the contractor must re-terminate the cable into MCCB for permanent connection.
